Question:
Hi, Im new to roof top racks. As far as the accessories that attach to the cross bars, do they all attach the same? I was looking at the Malones AirFlow2. Thanks!

The Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack part # MPG215 is an excellent option for a 2012 Subaru Forester and a confirmed fit for models with the factory raised side rails. The Curt Roof Rack for Raised Side Rails part # C18118 is a really nice all black alternative. It as well attaches to the factory raised side rails.
In regards to rooftop mounted accessories, they will either attach with wraparound clamps or the integrated channels assuming the carrier has this feature. I think what you are wanting to know is if most will work with these crossbars and the answer to this is yes, these crossbars (both options) have a very standard size aero shape which will work with practically all rooftop mounted accessories.
