I have a 2012 Toyota Tacoma TRD. It is a double cab, not access cab and it has the full size bed not the short bed. I have seen the video and read the questions but before I purchase this product I need to know that it works with my model Tacoma. I am not sure if this makes a difference but I do have the Entune system as well. Please let me know if this will work and provide me with some extra tips should I need different than what I see in the video.

Pop and Lock tailgate lock # PAL8521 fits all models of the 2012 Toyota Tacoma, including your TRD double cab. The installation should be nearly identical to the video, linked for reference. One tip that I can add is that should the wire color be different than what is indicated in the instructions be sure to test the wires on the truck using a circuit, like # PTW2993 if needed, to locate the correct wires.
