Question:

Hello I have a 2018 Subaru Outback wagon 3.6R touring. It has a CURT 2 x 2 hitch installed by the Subaru dealer, rated 4,000 pounds tow / 600 pounds tongue weight. Ill be pulling a much lighter camp trailer, which requires the top of ball head height to be 21. Which CURT ball mount plate should I buy? FYI, the center point of the CURT square hitch receptacle on my car is 14 inches off the ground. Thank you

Based on the dimensions you listed you are going to need a ball mount with a rise of about 5 inches to be able to tow your trailer level. So for that you'd want the Curt ball mount # C45446.

Then for a 2 inch hitch ball you'd want the part # A-90.
