Hitch for 2014 Mercedes GLK 250 / 350

Question about : Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2 I saw that this trailer hitch could handle 600 pounds on the tongue. But how much the car could handle ? I have a moto weighting around 450 pounds and id like to know if itd be possible to put this weight directly on the tongue ?

To determine the exact towing and tongue weight capacity of your Mercedes you would need to refer to the manufacturer's sticker found on the door pillar. Also refer to your owner's manual for loading capacity and if installing a hitch is approved. Page 376 of a manual I looked at put tongue weight at 280 pounds which seems extremely low.

For both the 2014 GLK-250 and GLK-350 the curt # C13155 Class-3 hitch is a confirmed fit. Quick bolt-on installation does not require any welding. The gloss black finish will show nicely with your vehicle.

If you can provide me more information about your moto I could recommend a carrier designed to fit.
