How To Improve Stability In Rear On a 2000 Gulf Stream Conquest Yellowstone Capri
Updated 11/13/2020 | Published 11/11/2020 >
Question:
I find that when flat towing with my RV, the towed vehicle tends to throw the RV around a little sometimes a lot as it goes over bumps in the road. It is effectively steering the RV from the rear. Is there anything designed to mitigate this problem? Like maybe a shock absorber system for the tow hitch that minimizes the ability of the towed vehicle to transfer quick movements into the RV, while still allowing the RV to pull with slower movements?

Yes, we do offer a solution to help improve stability in the rear on a 2000 Gulf Stream Conquest Yellowstone Capri with the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar part # RM-1139-198. This is generally the first upgrade made on a motorhome to improve handing and stability and the one you will feel the most difference in.
