Bike Stuck In Yakima Forklift By Skewer Bolt

The threaded arm that goes through the front is currently stuck with a bike engaged on top of my car. It will not unscrew at all.

The "Skewer Bolt" runs through the Yamika mount on both sides as well as the bike forks. If you are having difficulty unscrewing the skewer, first keep in mind that this is a reverse thread that requires that you unscrew it in the opposite direction. Finally applying some penatrating oil to help lossen the bolt if it is seized.
The next time you are putting the skewer bolt back in I would suggest a dab of anti seize lube # LT37616
