Question:
Will 43inch Wingbar Evos fit on Countryman? Assuming the proper feet and clamp kit, of course. I see that 47inch is usually recommended, but could one use the 43inch bars to get more of a flush end look, without sacrificing strength? I like the Aeroblades looks, but not the function that is compromised achieving those looks. Seems like using 43inch instead of 47inch bars might be a compromise, but what do you experts say?

The correct size Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar for a 2016 Mini Countryman is 47", part # TH711220 which will require the mounting feet part # TH710601 and fit kit part # TH186039. The issue with using a smaller size crossbar is that there are channels integrated in the bottom of the bar which don't run the full length so there are limits to the size that can be used. The recommended size is usually the smallest that can be used, you can go up one size on most vehicles but not down.
