Could Malone Channel Loader Kayak Assist be Used with J-Style Kayak Carrier
Updated 10/21/2020 | Published 10/19/2020 >
Question:
Can it be used with J-style racks when the kayak must be loaded on to its side? All the videos I’ve seen are for a kayak loaded flat onto foam blocks/cradle, etc. I’ve got a bilateral J-rack.

Expert Reply:
Normally J-style kayak carriers are loaded from the side, but if you wanted to load yours from the rear of the vehicle the Malone Channel Loader Kayak Assist part # MAL48FR would fit and work great.
