The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11091 is a confirmed fit for a 2009 Vokswagen CC excluding the 4Motion. Drilling will be required as well as fascia trimming. It will take approximately 40 minutes to install.

If you want trailer wiring for towing or for accessory lighting I recommend the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236 which is confirmed to work with your car. If you will be doing light towing, I also recommend the ball mount # C45521, hitch ball # C40018, and pin # F-4.
