You are correct, the Plug-N-Tow (TM) Vehicle Wiring Harness, item # 32625, only plugs into a connection point on the driver side. This is because Jeep has already run all the necessary wires to that port for you, so you do not have to run the wires across yourself, as you would have to with other models that plug into both the driver and passenger taillights. The Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole Vehicle End Trailer Connector item # 30717, will work with the 4-pole wiring harness, item # 32625, and you can use the Mounting Bracket for 7-Way, item # 18138, and the No-Drill Mount Bracket, item # 18136 to mount the adapter to your hitch.
If you need the wiring and circuit breakers for installing a power wire and brake controller, for use with your trailer, you may want to consider the electric trailer brake controller installation kit, item # ETBC7. With this kit you will get all of the wiring and hardware needed to complete the 7-way trailer connector on your Jeep. I would also recommend the Prodigy P3 brake controller, item # 90195, if you need a trailer brake controller for your Jeep.
