Question:

Im purchasing the Kuat pivot 2. I don’t see that it comes with a basket.What basket do you recommend? Ill need to put a 5 gallon gas tank and Honda 2200i generator on it 30 wide, 25 front to back. I have a Ford Transit 250.

I have a similar pivoting hitch adapter to the Kuat you mentioned that will work great for you but the # PVD20B only works with Kuat bike racks according to Kuat. The Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender part # Y02483 can be used with cargo carriers like the Reese Solo Carrier part # PS1040100 which measures 32 inch by 48 inch and would fit the generator dimensions you listed having.
