Can the Kuat Beta Carry 1 E-Bike That Weighs 50-lbs

I bought a Kuat Beta rack from from you a while back. Its rated for up to 80 lbs. Could I put one 50 lb e-bike on that rack?

I have a solution for you to carry a heavy e-bike, but the Kuat Beta # B202-2 is not designed to carry heavy e-bikes. The Kuat Beta for 2" Hitches # B202-2 is rated to carry 80-lbs, but that is designed to be distributed across the arms of the rack differently. There are bike racks designed specifically to carry heavy e-bikes, but the Beta is not one of them.
Your best bet for a high quality bike rack that's rated to carry a heavy e-bike and that also won't break the bank is the Saris Freedom # SA4412B, which can carry bikes up to 60-lbs with tires as wide as 3"; if your e-bike has fat tires, you'll need to use the Freedom for Fat Bikes # SA4412B-FB.
