Installing Solar Panel to Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger

Question:

Hi . Hi have a Redarc BCDC 1225 hooked up to a dual battery system . I understand that the yellow wire is for the solar . I am looking at a Renogy 175 watt flex panel that has two wires , what wire or what is the best method of making the connection? Thank you for your time .

To connect your solar panel to the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger - Dual Input - DC to DC - 12V/24V - 25 Amp # 331-BCDC1225D you will simply connect the power output wire from the panel to the yellow wire on the BCDC you stated. The other wire of the solar panel will simply be the ground wire connection. You will connect that to the frame if your vehicle or trailer.
