Can these sensors work on an aluminum water tank or the aluminum could false results? Thank you!!

I spoke with my contact at Valterra. The Horst Miracle Probe Sensors, part # T21301VP, should not be used with any metal tank. The metal will interfere with the readings, rendering them inaccurate.
