I do have a mirror option for you but at this time the manufacturers we carry do not offer a custom fit slide-on towing mirror for a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500. For custom fit replacement mirrors we have CIPA mirrors # CM73700. These mirrors have electric mirror operation and heat features but will only work if the truck factory mirrors had those options.
For a universal fit the most popular option is # 7070. This mirror clips around a mirror that has a lip between the glass and the housing. I have included a link to a video that shows how it works.
