The Malone NomadTRX Standard Kayak Cart part # MAL88FR is more designed for rough terrain, the Malone WideTrakS Kayak Cart part # MPG521-S on the other hand is more designed for soft terrain so it will be much better suited for sand.
These are both universal kayak carries so as long as your kayak does not exceed the 150 lb/250 lb weight capacity you'll be fine.
