I searched by make and model and site suggested Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount Item # TH911XT. But next to the product it says not guaranteed to fit 2020 Forester. Can you confirm? thanks.

The Forester went through a generation change after 2018, and Thule has determined that the Passage # TH911XT is not a confirmed a fit for your 2020 Subaru Forester.

I have two other options I can recommend for you. The first is the Saris Bones EX 3 # SA803. I'm a big fan of their arched design that allows it to fit on a larger variety of vehicles. For your trunk, you'd need to use the # SA3035 hatch straps instead of the included side hooks.

My second recommendation is the Yakima Fullback # Y02633 which uses a vehicle-specific hub setting to fit the rack onto your trunk. The setting you'd use for your 2020 Subaru Forester is 2. The FullBack also has integrated bike and rack locks to deter theft.

I attached videos of the three racks if you want to see them in action. If I had to pick between the them, I would prefer the Yakima Fullback 3 # Y02633 due to how it already has locks integrated into the rack. As much as I love the versatility of the Saris Bones EX 3, for your vehicle, it would require the extra hatch straps, while the Yakima Fullback and Halfback are ready to ride as is.
