What is the hitch to buy, class 3, for my truck?

If your 2006 Ford F-150 did not come with a factory trailer hitch and it does not have the Tommy Lift Gate then the most popular hitch option is Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 75506 that you have referenced.
To complete your towing set up I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It comes with a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a carrying bag. For trailer wiring use # 18252. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a video for the hitch.
