Question:

What is the maximum length of Thule Square Bars that youd recommend over the cab of a 2006 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab? My roof is plain and did not come with factory rails. Thanks.

Thule recommends 53 inch square crossbars for your 2006 Toyota Tacoma double cab with a naked roof with the components part # TH712400, # TH710501, and # TH145107. Their older style of bar would allow a much longer crossbar due to how it attached to the feet of the rack but since the current style attaches to a channel on the underside of the bar that does not run the full length of it we can't recommend going with a longer bar and guarantee it would fit.
