If you've ever considered putting a hitch and a bike rack on your Camaro, we've done it before with part # C11900. We have different custom fits depending on your year and model, and if installed properly, are mostly hidden. The following recommended bike racks also work with Camaro Class I hitch receivers if you wanted that as an option.
From my experience with loading bike racks, I can recommend two different racks with ramps. The first is the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack Gunmetal Gray # NV12G with the separate Access Ramp for Kuat NV # ANVBRB. There is a 2" hitch option # NV22G depending on your husband's hitch size. I like the wheel mounts on this rack, because they are very easy to pull over the wheel and clamp into place.
My second recommendation is the Thule EasyFold XT # TH903202. This has an included ramp that can be accessed from underneath the rack by tilting the rack away. There is a separate 53" Extra-Long Loading Ramp # TH933402 if you find the Thule's included 36" ramp has too steep of an angle for ease of loading. It also has a slightly higher weight capacity of 65 lbs. This rack can work with Class I, II, and III hitches.
While both bike racks are great and are capable of carrying your electric bike, if I had to choose one, I would recommend the Kuat NV paired with the additional Access Ramp. I find it a bit easier to load and dismount bikes on it. It has a weight capacity of 60lbs per bike, but is also built to be slightly more robust and sturdy.
While both racks have a relatively easy and tool-free install, the Thule EasyFold XT is lighter and easier to fold up and store if you're concerned about regularly attaching by yourself. But if you have another set of hands to help with the initial install, the Kuat NV does a great job of making life easier for loading and storing your bikes. This rack also comes in Kuat NV 2.0 Metallic Black # NV12B and Kuat NV 2.0 Base Matte Black # BA12B with no integrated bike repair stand. I attached a video to show the Kuat Access Ramp in action.
Whichever bike rack you choose, I also recommend taking the battery off your bike when traveling. It lightens the load as well as protects the battery from the extra stress from road vibrations. You would also need to use the stabilizing strap # 18050 which is required by Curt when carrying a bike rack or a cargo carrier.
