Question:

Ive researched Thule roof racks for carrying my kayaks on 2019 Kia Sorento and Im leaning toward the Aeroblade Edge to reduce wind noise. I know that Thule has 2 other roof racks that would work with my flush mount integrated roof rails on my Sorento. Do you have any recommendations pros/cons of the Aeroblade Edge versus the other 2 THule roof racks options for my vehicle?

For your 2019 Kia Sorento there are three roof rack options from Thule with that have unique advantages. The advantage of the square bar roof rack part numbers # TH712200, # TH710601, and # TH186033 compared to other options is price. It won't be as quiet or as sleek looking as other options and doesn't have a track that runs down the top of the bars for channel mounting ability either.

Next we have the Wingbar Evo roof rack part number # TH711200, # TH710601, # TH186033 which has the best shape for aerodynamics which reduces wind noise. It also has a longer bar length than an Aeroblade Edge so you can fit more roof accessories.

Then there's the Aeroblade Edge roof rack part numbers # TH186033 and # TH7602-TH7602. This is the sleekest and quietest design as the bars do not extend past the feet of the rack and they sit a little lower. The trade off is a bit less bar space to mount accessories as the available space is 35 inches instead of 47. This looks the most like an OEM roof rack.
