Does Go Power Solar Elite Charging System Require Additional Transfer Switch
Updated 01/14/2021 | Published 08/03/2020 >
Question:
does the go power inverter charger auto transfer switch replace the rv shore power transfer switch? If so do you have to by-pass the rv transfer switch? I watched the install of the kit and there was no mention of this. Inquiring minds would like to know. Thanks.

Depends on what your setup will look like whether or not you'd only need the transfer switch that comes with the Go Power Solar kit part # 34282184. If you only will have the solar panel kit and AC outlet power from a campsite as power sources you'd bypass you current transfer switch, but if you will also have option of powering the setup from a generator you'll need to retain the switch you have now as well.

If the only source of AC power I have is a generator( no shore power), will the auto transfer switch work with no additional transfer switch needed?
