Question:
I have an older rv that has a round magnetic switch that put the step out and in. I replaced the switch and now the step go out when I close the door instead of going in. Can you tell me what part I need?

If you've just installed the Replacement Magnetic Door Sensor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps - Round - White # LC378047, it's possible that you've just got the wires reversed. You'll want to disconnect the wire connections you've made and switch them, and make sure that the functions are not reversed.
If that doesn't work, it's possible that you've gotten the wrong switch in terms of it being continually open or continually closed. If you can please let me know the specific model of Kwikee steps you've got and the number that's on the motor and I can help you further troubleshoot to see if you've got the correct switch for that application.
