Does the Pro Series Square Jack "Lock" Into Place and Can It Be Used to Level a Trailer
Updated 07/29/2020 | Published 07/27/2020 >
Question:
Hello experts, I was wondering if there is a way to lock the jack into place once it is set. I intend to use this jack to level four corners of a trailer, and hoping the jacks could lock once set. Also, I assume the crank handle provides fine-tune adjustment of the height, correct? In other words, it is not only the pin-holes that provide the height options??

The Pro Series Square Jack # PS1400980376 is a hand crank jack, so not only does the drop leg provide the major height adjustments, your fine adjustments can be done with the crank as you mentioned. This will work well to level your trailer when placed on all 4 corners. It doesn't "lock" per se, but the gears of the jack are designed to hold it in place when it is raised, so it's not going to move once you've got it set.
