Question:
I have a 1999 Teton fifth wheels and the motor on the stairs has gone out. The motor has series 23 on it and number The 5974320. Will one of the motors you sale fit the one I have? The picture looks like the same motor but I know one can’t go by that.

The motor for the 1999 and older style Kwikee Series 23 steps is no longer available, but they do have a replacement upgrade motor that will work.
For your older style of Kwikee Series 23 RV steps the Lippert Components Kwikee Step Motor Conversion/Upgrade Kit # LC379145 is the correct kit to use. This will upgrade what you have to the current style of motor and module.
This motor upgrade kit for is a very popular upgrade kit which works with most Kwikee Steps. It offers an improved gearbox with linkage and motor which is fully sealed, zinc plated, and has high torque. Includes control unit, switch kit, and hardware.
I have included a link to a video of this upgrade kit being installed on a motorhome.
