Dimensions of the Surco Universal Exterior RV Ladder # SP502L

Question:
what is the distance from the vertical riser part of the ladder to the vertical descender where it connects into the roof. In other words how far in does it go before turning 90 degrees and going into the roof.

Expert Reply:
The top hooks of the Surco Universal RV Ladder, # SP502L, that attach to the roof of an RV measure 10-1/2 inches from center to center and it measures approximately 7 inches from the vertical pole to the point on the hook just before the 90 degree bend.
This ladder has an overall length of 84-1/2 inches, 12 inches between the vertical bars and 13 inches between each step on center.
