Question:
I have a JVC marine radio in my UTV and am wondering if I need special antenna to pick up the weather bands? Or will simple FM antenna like this one work for both FM/AM and Weather Bands? JVC model KD-MR1BTS

Expert Reply:
FM antennas aren't really ideal for weather bands. A better option is a VHF type anteanna like the # FAN73B7C.
