Because you know the trailer works correctly when connected to your Ram, the issue is likely in the connection between your Motorhome and trailer. The way you describe your motorhome impacting your trailer lights in different stages of being on and off etc, leads me to think because your trailer has LED's you will need load resistors as not enough power is being drawn at the trailer connection. My recommendation is to simply use the Trailer Connector Adapter w/ Lamp-Out Sensor Bypass - 7-Way RV to 7-Way RV - Vehicle End # 20142. This adapter has built in load resistors to make sure your trailer with LED lights is functional when other parts of the system pull power away from that connection.
