The Curt trailer connector, # C57101, replaces an existing 7-Way trailer connector on a Ford or GM that came with an OEM connector. It does not plug into an existing 7-Way. On the back of the 7-Way on some trucks there is a round plug. It is that plug that plugs into the back of this connector.
