Question:
Hi, Its states on your website that this trailer hitch will not fit a 2011 scion xb rs 8.0 due to center exhaust. I have this exact car but there is no center exhaust so im a little bit confused. Can you please clarify this? Thanks,

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12490 is a custom fit for the 2011 Scion xB base model. The hitch fits this generation of the xB. The Release series center exhaust is on the 2010 model but we still don't list this as a confirmed fit because of the body kit on the 2011 Release. Your 2011 will mount the same way but you would need to modify your body kit by trimming to accommodate the receiver tube.
If you're looking to carry a bike rack or cargo I would get a roof rack. This will be more of an investment but you won't compromise the look of your body kit. I attached a link below with all of the fits available for your car.
I like the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System: Cross Bars # RRVA137B-2, Towers # RRRLKVA and a custom fit kit for your xB # DK152. This system looks good, has locks and is one of the easier roof racks to install. I attached a video below of the installation on a 2012 Scion xB.
I also attached a link for rooftop cargo carriers and bike racks, specifically wheel mount bike racks. I like that I don't need to take off my front tire compared to a fork mount style. The Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103 is a great bike rack that is easy to use and very secure.
