5th Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with MagneRide

Question:

I have a 2018 Sierra 1500 Denali with the magneride option. I see that many of the rail install kits will not work with this setup. What is the best option. I would like to do the install myself. I also need a hitch for a light 9000 lb camper that is equipped with a Reese Revolution so it could be a hitch and rail kit.

For your 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 with the MagneRide suspension we have the B and W Custom Fifth Wheel Rail Kit part # BWRVK2503 as a confirmed fit that would work great but you will have to contact them prior to purchasing the rail kit as there are some versions of the truck that require additional bracketry. It's our only option but it's also a really great option so it's the way to go for sure.

I recommend using the Reese M5 series Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30928 because it has a hitch height range of 14" - 18" and a really great jaw design that will give you a quiet and smooth ride quality. For a wedge for the Reese Revolution you'd then just need the part # SWW-01 and you'd be set.
