Mounting Bolt Pattern for Demco Channel Tongue Coupler

Question:

What is the dimension from top plate of coupler to the bolt holes how far down from the top and is the ball tension tightness while locked adjustable with this coupler?

I reached out to Demco to get the bolt hole spacing on the Demco Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # DM13203-52. The bolt holes measure 3/4 in from the top of of the coupler to the center of the hole. This is the same measurement for the distance from the bottom of the coupler to the center of the lower bolt hole. I have attached a photo showing these measurements.

For this coupler there is not an adjustment for the tension on the hitch ball. I confirmed this with my contact at Demco. The coupler is adjusted at the factory since the Easy Latch design of this coupler works opposite to most other coupler designs. The spring tension of this coupler is designed to close the coupler, so the coupler can actually be attached to the hitch ball without having to lift the latch handle.
