Question:

Ive got a 2017 Acura RDX and Im looking for cross bars for a bare roof. I liked the look of the Rhino-Rack RS 2500 Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Vortex Aero Crossbar, but cant find it on your site in silver. I also saw the Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack for Naked Roofs - Vortex Aero, but also looking for it in Silver. What is the difference between the 2500 and the ROC25? Thanks,

The difference between the Rhino Rack RS2500 and ROC25 system is just the legs/feet that hold the bars and the way they mount to the vehicle; the ROC25 system is a bit newer than the RS2500. I'll also add that both of these systems are only available with black bars, so that's why you're not seeing a silver bar system available on our site.

For your 2017 Acura RDX, there is only a ROC25 system available for the naked roof with part # RR66GR. These are a great choice because the aerodynamic bars do a great job at reducing wind noise, and the because the bars don't stick outside of the feet, it gives off a clean, factory look. If you wanted a system with silver bars, you can use the Rhino Rack Roof Rack Kit that uses parts # RRVA137B-2 (crossbars), # RRRLKVA (legs) and fit kit # DK337. This kit has the same aerodynamic bars as the RR66GR system, so it will do a great job at reducing wind noise. The main difference is that the bars on this system will extend past the feet, so it will have a bit more of an aftermarket look to it.

Both of these systems use the same bars, so it's really down to the aesthetics that you're looking for on your vehicle. I've linked a video on the kit with the silver bars for you to have a look at.
