Hello I have a Fulton XLT1401 Winch. I broke off the switch handle that engaged the spool forward or backward. is there a replacement part I can buy?

I checked with Fulton and the part you are looking for has been discontinued. You will need to replace the entire winch because that ratchet pawl is no longer available and he said no other kit will work.

I recommend the Fulton F2 Fully Enclosed Trailer Winch with Adjustable Handle - 2,000 lbs # FW20000301 or the Fulton XLT 2-Speed Trailer Winch with Heavy Duty 20' Strap - Zinc - 2,600 lbs # F142418 as a replacement. Both of these use a different ratcheting pawl than your current winch.
