Question:
I installed Curt product number 56432 into my 2020 ford escape. When I plug in a 4-way tester both my own and uHaul, both the left and right turn signal will turn on the first two lights on the tester, the brake lights work fine What are your thoughts on the problem?

It's possible that this is just an issue with the ground connections that you've made when installing the Curt # C95FR, so I would go back an make sure that you've got a firm connection to a paint and corrosion free metal spot on the vehicle. A poor ground connection could allow the brake lights to work but create issues once you've got the flashing circuit activated.
I'd start by checking here, and also making sure that your plugs are firmly set. If you check these out and it does not resolve the issue please let me know and I can assist you with some further troubleshooting steps.
