To choose the correct ball mount you'll first need to measure from the ground to the top inside of the Draw-Tite Receiver # 76143 with it installed on your 2017 Tesla Model X, and then from the ground to the bottom of your trailer coupler with the trailer sitting level on level ground.

Since the hitch receiver sits fairly low I'd imagine that your trailer coupler will be higher so you'll need a ball mount with a rise like the 2-3/4" rise ball mount that comes with the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989892. I am attaching a helpful article and a link to our selection of ball mounts so you can make sure that you get the correct one for your towing application.

Also, don't forget to have wiring on your Model X as well so you can activate your trailer lights. For this you'll want to use the Tekonsha ZCI Kit # 119250KIT.
