We do have some helpful articles on the best 2020 trucks for towing 5th wheel trailers that I've gone ahead and linked, but at lot of this just depends on the size of the trailer you're going to be towing and what your preferences are. I think the one thing I will say when it comes to buying a car/truck is buy what YOU want and not what the dealer wants to sell you.
With that said, if you check out that article, the Ram 3500 does have the highest towing capacity in its' class and it's also a I6, so it'll be a little bit easier on gas than the other trucks that are V8s. You're sacrificing some HP and torque compared to other trucks in its class, but it seems like the differences are negligible. I do recommend making sure that you get the OEM Prep package so that you don't have to worry about having 5th wheel hitch rails installed after the fact.
When it comes to hitches, something like the Curt # C16044 will fit directly into the factory pucks on the 2020 Ram 3500 and is a great choice because of the double jaw and cushioned hitch head which give you better contact with the kingpin and will reduce the chucking you might experience otherwise. Additionally, the head on the A20 pivots 360 degrees to make hooking up the trailer easier.
In addition to those articles I mentioned, I've linked a video about the Curt A20 that you may want to have a look at, as well.
