Question:
I received the hitch some time ago from your company. now its time that I need to install it but I noticed that looking at the installation on YouTube I dont see any were that they put in the vibration dampener bracket that comes with the hitch? I looked at three videos? than I noticed on the instruction sheet were it states Will not fit f-150 pickups that previously had OEM hitches installed. The way it looks it dos not seem to ever of had a hitch before so my question is should I not worry about this peace being installed?

If your 2005 Ford F-150 is the Styleside model without the OEM hitch then you'll install the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 41549 per the instructions which includes installing the vibration dampener. The only time you won't install that dampener is if you have a Flareside style where the fenders are visible on the outside of the truck bed.
