Can Slider Unit on Curt C16541 A20 5th Wheel Hitch Be Replaced with C16904 Leg Kit

Question:
I recently purchased a used 5th Wheel that came with a hitch. It appears to be the Curt C16541 Slider. I do not need the slider nor do I want the weight. It appears that I can simply purchase legs C16904 and transfer the head unit. Would you agree?
