Are There Fascia Brackets on 2020 GMC Acadia that Get Removed to Install Draw Tite Hitch

Spoke directly with Drawtite. They say on 2020 Acadia the 2 fascia brackets must be removed.

Did you make all of the modifications to the rear fascia that are outlined in the install instructions of the 76023?

We just had the Draw Tite hitch installed on our 2020 Acadia. The dealership said they could not put back on the 2 fascia brackets as they will not fit when torqued down. Is that safe to drive with the bottom of the bumper not attached and supported?
