Question:

I happen to come across a tow hitch bar-A Roadmaster Falcon 5250 with a part #1559-1 and #1419-7. I need the Base plate to attach to the 1997 Jeep Wrangler, Plus the wiring kit. Can you help me, Thank you

Neither the 1559-1 nor the 1419-7 base plate kits will work for your 1997 Jeep Wrangler, I'm sorry to say. We do offer kits that will work, though.

I'd recommend the # RM-521424-4 base plate kit, which fits the standard or double-tube bumper, unless you have front leaf springs. If your Wrangler does have front leaf springs, let me know and we can look into another solution.

For wiring, I'd recommend a diode system like # RM-15267, you can see an installation video by clicking the provided link. The video shows a newer Wrangler, but the install on your 1997 will be very similar.
