I am interested in the 12 volt ceiling fan. How does it attach to the ceiling? Does it need a block or can a cross brace be sufficient? It is the east seventeen model

You could use a block to install the East Seventeen 12V RV Ceiling Fan # 344410TSDC36BNOKCY that you referenced but it also comes with J-hook install hardware as well for mounting.
