Question:

I am trying to find a rack that secures my interior cargo when parked and locked? In other words, can it be opened lifted up if the Jeep’s top is off when parked and locked?

The Rampage Folding Cargo Rack # RA86623 is designed to give you some extra storage space and give you a way to hide items from view, but it wasn't designed around being a theft deterrent so it doesn't have a lock. You might be able to rig something up that locks the cargo rack into place, but as-is it wouldn't hinder anyone from quickly grabbing something out of your Jeep when the top is off.

With that being said, we do have other locking options that you can choose from. These range from the Custom Underseat Locking Storage Box # B4264201, to the Custom Center Console Locking Storage Box # B4264301, to the Instatrunk # B4270401 which secures your cargo when your tailgate is shut and locked.
