Question:
I have a 2016 Chevy traverse with factory installed side rails the run front to back. I currently have the factory cross bars but would like some extra room. Is there any setup that would allow me to put 8 or 60 inch crossbars on the roof using the factory installed rails? Thanks. You guys are the most knowledgeable staff!!!

I have an option that will allow you to install longer crossbars on your 2016 Chevy Traverse, but we don't have a roof rack that would use your factory flush rails for the attachment points.
The solution would be to use the Rhino-Rack Custom DK Fit Kit # DK297, along with the Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA. This system would bypass your factory rails, and fit over them, using a clamp-style attachment to secure itself onto your vehicle's roof.
With those in place, you can choose between the following crossbars:
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar 54" - # RRVA137B-2
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar 65" - # RRVA165S-2
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar 71" - # RRVA180S-2
