The Curt # C51170 Spectrum brake controller would be an excellent choice for your 2013 Ram 2500. The control box mounts out of sight under the dash with the only visible portion being the control knob that can be installed on the dash or the center console, as long as it's in easy reach of the driver.
The correct wiring harness is indeed the # C51453. I've linked you to instructions for the brake controller and the wiring harness.
