Question:
Will the Rola Cargo net # 59200 be large enough for the the Thule roof cargo basket # TH859XT with the rack extension # TH8591XT added?
asked by: Shaun
Expert Reply:
When laid out flat, the Rola Cargo Net measures 36 by 48 inches. When the extension is added to the basket, it will be 70 inches long, too long for the net to stretch.
The Curt Stretchable Cargo Net, part # C18201 would be a better choice for you. At 38 by 65 inches, the net will provide plenty of stretch to accommodate your cargo.
You might also want to consider a wheel step like part # HE4040 which would make accessing your rooftop cargo much easier, not to mention safer.
