Does Drawer Slide Socket Allow C-Shaped Piece to Be Removed From Bracket?
Updated 05/06/2020 | Published 05/04/2020 >
Question:
can I take the C shaped piece out of the bracket? I have this style in our house. The C shaped piece always breaks, I want to be able to replace just that piece and not the bracket piece stapled to the wall. Removing the piece stapled to the wall is a PIA. That would make it a piece of cake to replace if I can just pop the C shaped piece in the bracket. Thanks!

The RV Cabinet Drawer Slide Socket Set - C-Shape - 2-3/8" Deep # 37270735 doesn't just let the c-shaped piece be removed from the bracket. If you look closely at the attached video at the 1:27 minute mark there is a ledge on the top and bottom that keep it from being easily removed. This is a struggle as you stated when the bracket breaks but it is also what gives it the necessary strength to avoid coming loose accidentally.
