Question:
Can I safely haul a luggage trailer with this hitch? Looking at 285 lb trailer with 600 lb. load capacity? All aluminum?

Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11222 which is a fit for a 2013 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible has a 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight rating and a 200 lb tongue weight rating. Therefore, if the trailer does not exceed these figures you will be good to go but you also need to check the owner's manual for towing restrictions as well to be completely safe.
In order to complete your setup, you'll need a wiring harness, ball mount part # C45520, pin/clip part # F-4, and a hitch ball part # C40001 or part # C40018. As of October 2023, we do not have a harness to fit your Camaro.
