Happijac Tie Downs For 2019 GMC 2500HD
Question:
I need to replace the happyjac front tie down plates from a 2005 GMC 2500HD to a 2019 GMC 2500HD. I have been told that the plates for the 2005 will not fit the 2019. Which replacement plates do I need? Is it the LC182871?

Expert Reply:
I contacted Happijac and there is a fit for the 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD with part # LC350763-182971. This will replace the complete tie down setup including stabilizer bar. According to Happijac the guide plates and L-brackets of your current setup are not compatible so this new part number comes with everything you need to install on the 2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD.
The LC182871 part you mentioned is for Dodge trucks and does not include the required stabilizer bar.
