Will Brophy Ball Mount Tongue Fit B&W Tow & Stow for Clevis Attachment

Question:

Hi, would this fit on a BandW 2.5inch receiver multi hitch with 7inch ? I need one, but the one made for the BandW is a 1 5/8inch hole, I would like a 1inch hole Thank you

The 10K Ball Mount Tongue for Brophy Adjustable Drop Hitch # RTB1 won't fit on a B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount like part # BWTS20040C because the brackets where it mounts are too narrow. The Tow & Stow opens up wider than the shank where the Brophy part has an opening the same size as the shank (which is for a 2").

The Clevis Adapter for B&W Tow & Stow 2-1/2" Ball Mounts # BWTS35200B will do just fine for most towing as the hole is only 1-1/8" in diameter. If you plan on traveling at higher speeds with a clevis attachment then it would be beneficial to use one that has a 1" diameter pin hole. If this is the case then let me know and I can help you find an alternative here at etrailer that best fits your application.
